About Me
Hi, I’m Samantha Evans, the creator of Green Flag Academy—a curriculum designed to help teens and young adults prepare for healthy dating relationships, all from a Biblical worldview.
My background blends education, coaching, and ministry, and I’ve found so much joy in bringing those experiences together to create this course. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Universidad Regiomontana and earned an Alternative Teaching Certification in Bilingual Education from Texas Wesleyan University. Along the way, I’ve also been trained in life coaching, earned certifications in Strengths-Based Coaching, and completed Marital and Pre-Marital Coaching Certifications through the Professional Christian Coaching Institute.
I’ve taught in public schools, homeschooled my children for eight years, tutored with Classical Conversations, and stayed active in both homeschool and local school communities.
Ministry has also been a central part of my life for over twenty years—whether leading small groups, discipling youth, or serving in women’s ministry through leadership and event coordination.
I’ve been married to my husband, Brian, since 2002, and together we’ve raised two amazing young adults. Through all these seasons of teaching, coaching, ministry, and parenting, God has given me a deep passion for equipping young people to build strong, Christ-centered relationships that can grow into thriving marriages.
My Story
My passion for helping teens and young adults build healthy relationships comes from my own story. I grew up in a broken home, stumbled through dating, and entered marriage with more baggage than I realized. Even though my husband and I loved each other and loved God, we still had a lot of healing to do—and that made our early years hard.
By God’s grace, we’ve grown, healed, and built a marriage I treasure. But along the way, I couldn’t help but think: What if I had learned these lessons before I ever got married?
That question became the heart of Green Flag Academy. I don’t want young people to repeat the same painful cycles I’ve seen in my own life, and in countless families I’ve prayed with. Instead, I want them to experience a dating relationship they’ll one day be proud to share with their children and grandchildren.
That’s why I created Green Flag Academy—to give students and young adults the tools, wisdom, and hope they need to write a love story worth celebrating.
